Thank you, John, for your well thought-out comments. I seldom get any feedbackon Fine Art America as I am a true neophyte. I just sketch out my ideas, and add personal touches that people from my area of Montreal can relate to. My 50 years in the food business is reflected in many of my storefronts, mostly based on 1930 motifs. Some critics have said, "learn to draw", yet this is what I am and do...no pretense, no fanciness. Simplicity and personal outlook is my credo. Again, thanks for your kind remarks.

Michael, I love your style, it's so fresh and colourful, reminding me of that sense of innocense and escapism into art with a mood of busy and folksy rendering bringing out such grand city scapes and quaint, old world neighbourhoods.
